We recently had the opportunity of traveling to Chiapas, Mexico, and it was just amazing. Every part of the trip was full of wonder and excitement, from touring Palenque’s ancient ruins to swimming in the turquoise waters of the Agua Azul Waterfalls.
The colonial village of San Cristobal de las Casas was brimming with charm and personality, and the boat journey through the Sumidero Canyon was simply stunning. The trip’s high point was definitely Yaxchilan, with its exquisite stone temples and luscious jungle settings.
